The workouts I did while I was fighting asked as much of my body as any weight training workout, but they only took 30 minutes, making them the hormonal Holy Grail.
When you're performing short workouts like these, that combine sets and force your lactic acid levels to rise exponentially, you're increasing your growth hormone levels, but you're out of your workout space before the bad hormones have a chance to peak (hormones like cortisol and estrogen).
Just because you don't want to spend money on a gym membership, or you don't have time to travel to the gym and go through that routine, DOES NOT MEAN your results should suffer.
However, you can't just do a bunch of push-ups and sit-ups and expect results.
You need progressions, you need to see improvements and gains and you need to increase the difficulty of the program as you progress.
